Based on input from Steph I updated my WordPress plugin which allows to seamlessly integrate coComment functionality in WordPress.
Instead of using the siteurl option to define the blog URL to be passed to coComment, the respective variable is now filled from the option home.
As I had to take out the code, I amended/fixed two additional open items:
- added all translations for german and french
- fixed a bug, which saved excessive post meta data on repetetive saving of a post
